Architecture Overview

The plugnstream platform has been designed with modularity in mind to provide a strong baseline for applications requiring scalability and agility at heart. The core components of the platform are:

The media platform: Acting as a gateway for ingesting livestreams from broadcasting softwares (Ex. OBS). It provides granular access control over each stream and allows different stream features including transcoding,clipping, ads rollout to be connected on a live stream.

The CDN: Acting as the hub from where all viewers play the streams, the CDN is tightly connected to the media platform. The CDN provides scalability, allowing the resources to auto stretch to serve as many view requests as possible, and compatibility to serve the streams across a big range of devices and phones.
